Communication, PasientPost, and SMS

PasientPost

We generally send all letters about test results etc. digitally. We use PasientPost for this.

This is a secure channel where all messages are encrypted and sent via the Norwegian Health Network. When you receive a PasientPost message from us, you will receive an SMS from the number 2097 with a link to log in. You must use BankID to identify yourself when reading the message.

You cannot reply directly to a PasientPost message.

SMS

If you have questions that cannot be answered by your GP, or if you need to reply to questions from us, you can send an SMS to 2097. Start the message with GID, then your name, date of birth (6 digits), and your message.

You cannot send urgent questions or messages through this channel. In that case, call us during telephone hours at 22926092, or contact your GP.

We may receive many messages in a day and have to prioritize. It can therefore take some time to receive a reply, and our secretary may be the person who contacts you.
